Who We Are

We’re cat lovers. And cat lover lovers. That means we’re as dedicated to creating furniture that enhances your cat’s life (all nine of them) as we are to creating furniture that enhances your life, your home, and your aesthetics. It’s why Mau cat furniture looks like it comes from an art gallery and not a flea market. Our creations are inspired by elements found organically in nature. Phases of the moon. The fluidity of waves. The sculptural form of trees. They’re designed to fit as beautifully in your home as they would in nature. That’s why our products aren’t just a treat for your senses—they make you feel special, bringing harmony to your home and joy to the cats who experience them.

Why We Are

Being cat lovers ourselves, we realized something was missing: Cat furniture you’d actually be proud of having in your home instead of wanting to hide it whenever anyone came over. Cat furniture that should be as important to a room’s design as your human furniture. Cat furniture that changes the conversation from, “Oh, sorry you have a cat,” to “Oh, wow, you have a cat!” That’s why Mau was born. To offer a different breed of cat furniture for people who love cats as much as they love their homes.
